I braved my flu in the freezing cold temperatures this morning to go see Barack Obama and Joe Biden speak for about 20 minutes.
It was so worth it. I witnessed history.

What is this, to you? Nobody is asking you to embrace their expression of love. But don't you, as human beings, have to embrace... that love? The world is barren enough. It is stacked against love, and against hope, and against those very few and precious emotions that enable us to go forward. Your marriage only stands a 50-50 chance of lasting, no matter how much you feel and how hard you work. And here are people overjoyed at the prospect of just that chance, and that work, just for the hope of having that feeling.

the phillies are going to win the world series. i vowed never to say that but i am drunk and saying it now. this team is so damn amazing i can't get enough. it hasn't even sank in that we are actually going TO THE WORLD SERIES. People on my friends list may not understand, but this is A Very Big Deal. The last time they went I was too young to understand. Now all I wanna do is live in the moment, party it up, marry Shane Victorino (FLYIN Hawaiian) and watch this amazing team dominate. They lost one game this series and it didn't even matter cause they are so baliln.
I cried when they won tonight out of sheer happiness. We as fans deserve this. PHILLY DESERVES THIS.
finally. lights out. lidge.
